The tower at The Crossing houses male New Life Program residents and includes classroom space for the Mission’s Literacy, Education and Career programs.  When a hailstorm damaged the outside of the Tower last year, Mission volunteer Gary Duke of Guaranty Bank thought he knew someone who could help repair it.

Gary referred Mike Johnston, owner of the commercial painting company Americoat, to the Denver Rescue Mission.  Mike Johnston was more than willing to help.  His generous donation to the Mission included paint, lifts and all labor needed to repair the Tower.

A very special thank you to the principals and employees at Castle Meinhold & Stawiarski, LLC law firm in Denver for providing a significant donation allowing the Mission to purchase toys for approximately 1,200 needy children that will attend the Mission’s Santa Shop event on December 15th. The employees also held a “Pay $5.00 to Wear Jeans to Work” fund raiser which was a huge success!”

We are so grateful to the Beverage Distributors Company  for their very generous donation to the Denver Rescue Mission!  Robert Catalani, President and CEO of Beverage Distributors  said, “It has been our goal to make a conscious effort to support and facilitate giving throughout the year to programs that benefit the communities we service.
