| The Denver Rescue Mission wants to ensure our donors are informed and
protected against charitable fraud. When giving to any organization,
be sure to use common sense. Don't feel pressured or surprised into giving.
Know the organization you want to support and take your time when deciding
to give.
Consider the following to ensure your charitable gift is safe,
secure, and goes entirely to the Denver Rescue Mission:
If you come
across suspicious advertising, obtain a phone number for the charity
and call the number to ensure the number is legitimate.
For online advertising, the Denver Rescue Mission only sends permission-based
e-mails; we only use banner and sponsorship advertising; and our donation
page is managed on a secure server by a third party company called
ServiceNetwork.
If you see a distrustful advertisement in the newspaper, call the number
listed to confirm the advertisement belongs to us.
If you receive unsolicited and suspicious emails, pop-up ads, or direct
mail please report them to us immediately at (303) 297-1815 so we can
take action.
We never sell, rent or exchange our supporter's name or information.
Most importantly, be sure you are giving DIRECTLY to the Denver Rescue
Mission through its Web site, by phone, or mail.
