Collecting donations now through March 14th
The 9th Annual Hope Tote Campaign is a campaign
of compassion and caring, and you can be a critical part! You can partner
with the Denver Rescue
Mission this Easter season to provide hygiene items for the homeless.
On Good Friday and throughout the year, the Mission will give away hundreds
of Hope Totes—bags filled with hygiene items many of us take for granted
like shampoo, deodorant, a toothbrush and toothpaste. These personal
care items are simple to donate and it’s a great way for individuals
or groups to reach out to Denver’s
homeless and needy! Below are some donation suggestions (new and unopened
donation items only, please):
- Toothbrush
- Toothpaste
- Shampoo
- Conditioner
- Soap
- Shaving cream
- Disposable razors
- Deodorant
- Lip balm
|
- Brush & Comb
- Socks
- Tissues
- Shoelaces
- Hand/Body lotion
- Towel/Wash cloth
- Feminine hygiene products
- Disposable diapers
- Men’s underwear
|
Some items that should not be included:
- Cash or checks
- Mouthwash
- Items that have been opened or used
|
The items you are supplying will refresh bodies, lift spirits and provide "Hope
to Hold on To".
