"My internship at the Denver Rescue Mission has given me something that is invaluable in the workplace--experience. I have been able to try new ideas and theories and find out which ones work and which ones don’t. I was not given small ‘data entry’ type jobs, but instead was put in charge of things in order that I may get experience and learn in a hands-on style. This internship will be one of the most beneficial things that I will do to prepare myself for my future job."
