"My internship with the Denver Rescue Mission has allowed me to take part in the work of God. I have been able to see broken, needy people come to us and offer them hope through our New Life Program, but more importantly, through the promise of God that all who come to Him will be made new. Through my internship, I am reminded that the essence of Christianity is that through the gospel, broken lives are healed and hope is restored. What is rewarding, humbling and exhilarating is that when we volunteer for ministry, we are privileged to take part in the awesome work of God."
